Aid for Disabled & Special Persons
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched an important financial Aid for Disabled & Special Persons, under which checks of up to Rs 10,000 are being provided to deserving individuals. This initiative is an expression of the government’s determination not to neglect the weaker sections of society but to ensure their welfare and well-being.
Launching this financial assistance campaign, DEDIC Chairman Nowshera Haji Zar Alam Khan distributed checks among the disabled and special needs individuals and assured that this assistance will continue throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that according to Imran Khan’s vision, every needy individual will be provided assistance so that they can lead an independent life and not become a burden on anyone.

The registration process of disabled individuals is underway under the supervision of the Social Welfare Department and a special camp has been set up at DHQ Hospital on Wednesday where eligible individuals can get their registration done. This initiative of the government is proving to be a new ray of hope for deserving individuals, which will enable them to become financially stable.
In addition, a special quota has been allocated in the Ramadan package for the disabled and special people so that they do not face any difficulty in their daily needs. This effort of the government is not only providing financial assistance but also taking practical steps to give special people a dignified place in society.
