Assistive Devices Project for Special People
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched a unique project to bring ease and self-reliance to the lives of special people. This Program aims to provide necessary Assistive Devices Project for Special People, especially the mobility impaired and the hearing impaired so that they can lead their daily lives in a better way.
Under this project, wheelchairs will be provided free of cost, which will significantly improve the mobility of the disabled. Similarly, special hearing aids will be provided to the hearing impaired, which will enhance their hearing and speaking ability. All these facilities are being provided by the Punjab government to provide complete facilities to the special people.
Special people can also submit applications for this project from home on the online portal adwc.punjab.gov.pk. For this, the applicants will be required to provide their National Identity Card (CNIC or B Form) and a disability certificate issued by the District Disability Assessment Board.
