You are eligible for a Smart POC
- You previously held Pakistani citizenship but have since renounced it after acquiring a foreign nationality.
- You are a foreign national, and either of your parents or grandparents was a Pakistani national.
- You are a foreign national with a close relative (such as a brother, sister, uncle, or aunt) who is or was a Pakistani citizen.
- You are a foreign national married to a Pakistani or a former Pakistani citizen.
Exceptions: You are not eligible for a POC if you are:
- A citizen of India, Israel, or Taiwan.
- A national of a country not recognized by the Government of Pakistan.
- A citizen of a country that is considered an enemy state by Pakistan.
