What is the Zewar-e-Taleem Program
The Zewar-e-Taleem Program aims to boost school enrollment and attendance among adolescent girls while also supporting their nutritional needs. Under this initiative, a monthly stipend of Rs. 1,000 is provided to girls studying in government schools from grades 6 to 10 across selected districts.

The stipend is distributed quarterly through a secure, branchless banking system managed by the Punjab Social Protection Authority. To be eligible for the stipend, students must maintain at least 80% school attendance, verified by the School Education Department. Girls in grade 10 are automatically removed from the program after completing the academic year, and any student who drops out of school is also excluded.
Girls who enroll during the annual School Education Department enrollment drive can receive the stipend after successful biometric verification.

Registration for Zewar-e-Taleem Online
1. Enrollment:
Girls studying in grades 6 to 10 in government schools within the selected districts are automatically enrolled in the program. To remain eligible, they must maintain at least 80% attendance. Attendance data is collected every quarter from the School Education Department.
2. Biometric Verification:
After confirming attendance, the parent or guardian must complete biometric verification through authorized branchless banking agents, such as Omni, UBL Alfa, or Konnect. This step ensures that the stipend is transferred securely to the right family.
3. Fund Disbursement:
Once verification is successful, the family receives PKR 3,000 every quarter. The stipend can be withdrawn using the CNIC and registered mobile number at any authorized branchless banking agent.
