How to Apply?
- Visit Your Nearest NADRA Office
Go to the NADRA office in your district where the program is available. - Fill Out the Application Form
Complete the Succession Certificate application form provided at the office. - Submit Required Documents
Provide necessary documents such as the death certificate of the deceased, your identification, and any other documents requested. - Pay the Processing Fee
Pay the required fee at the NADRA office. - Receive Your Certificate
After processing, you will be notified to collect your Succession Certificate without having to visit the court.
Eligibility Criteria
- Legal Heirs or Beneficiaries:
Only the legal heirs or people entitled to inherit from the deceased can apply for a Succession Certificate. - Death of the Property Owner:
The person whose debts or property are involved must have passed away. - Proof of Relationship:
Applicants must provide proof that shows their relationship with the deceased, like family or marriage documents. - Clear Intent:
The applicant must clearly state the debts or securities they want the certificate. - No Dispute Among Heirs:

- CNIC (ID card) of the deceased
- CNICs of all legal heirs
- Family Registration Certificate (FRC) issued by NADRA

- Affidavit from legal heirs (stating there is no dispute)
- Photographs (passport-size) of the applicant
- Application form (available at the NADRA office or online)

Processing Time:
It usually takes around 15 to 30 working days to get the certificate.
Fees:
- If the total value of the assets is more than Rs. 100,000, the fee is Rs. 20,000
- If the assets are less than Rs. 100,000, the fee is Rs. 10,000
