Punjab Govt Monthly Support for Disabled
Punjab Govt Monthly Support for Disabled: The Punjab government has taken a major step towards improving the economic and social condition of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and deserving individuals through its “Himat Card” program. It is a comprehensive initiative that not only provides financial assistance but is also capable of facilitating them on the basis of quality of life.

Increase in financial assistance
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced in June 2024 that the amount given as a monthly subsidy to the disabled persons would be increased from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 7,500. This financial facility is not only a means of immediate cash assistance but also a reflection of maintaining the dignity of these individuals.
