  1. You must be a widow or divorced woman
  2. You must be 55 years old or older
  3. You must live in one of the 12 selected districts

How to Apply for the Punjab Livestock Program: Simple Steps

The Punjab government has made it easy for eligible women to apply using two simple options:

Mobile Application

Women who can use smartphones can register through a special government app created for this program. The app is easy to use and guides users step by step.

CM Helpdesk at Veterinary Hospitals

For women who don’t have smartphones or can’t use apps, the government has set up CM Helpdesks at local veterinary hospitals.

  • Filling out the registration form
  • Verifying documents
  • Answering questions and giving guidance

In addition, these centers also offer livestock breeding services, helping beneficiaries manage and grow their dairy animals more effectively.

Why Livestock for Empowerment?

In rural areas, livestock is more than just an animal; it’s a way to earn a living and support a family. For example, a single buffalo gives milk every day, and women can sell it or use it at home. It can also have calves, which increases income over time.

This program helps women:

  • Earn money by selling milk
  • Start small dairy businesses from home
  • Feed their families better with fresh milk
  • Become self-reliant and respected members of their communities

Livestock gives women a steady, long-term way to support themselves without needing a job outside the home.
