Punjab Youth Technical & Vocational Institutions

The Punjab Youth Technical & Vocational Institutions initiative has provided a wonderful opportunity for the youth! Now, the online portal registration for admission in technical and vocational institutions has started. Under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, this system has been made completely digital so that students can be saved from long queues and unnecessary hassles.

Now, a concessional fee has been announced for students seeking admission in three-year courses of DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering). Moreover, the conditions for opening a bank account have been relaxed, and now, it will be required only after obtaining an account certificate. Thousands of youth will benefit from this great facility.

For the convenience of students and parents, all information will be available with a single click. The Punjab Skills Development Authority (PSDA) has released a list of unregistered and fake institutions so that students do not fall prey to fraud. In addition, the details of all approved institutions and courses have been provided on the PSDA website.

If anyone has a complaint against illegal entities, they can file an online complaint on the PSDA website. For more information and guidance, contact the official helpline 042-99231184 or send your query to PSDA’s official email registration@psda.punjab.gov.pk. Now is the time for the youth to become skilled and create their own bright future. To avoid any hassle, the government has launched a youth portal through which people will be able to register themselves from home.

Discounted Fee for DAE Courses

Students enrolling in three-year DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) courses will benefit from discounted fees for the entire program. Additionally, the requirement of opening a bank account in the institution’s name has been relaxed and is now only required after obtaining an account certificate.

Convenience for Students and Parents

To facilitate students and parents, the new system eliminates the need for frequent office visits. All relevant information will be available with just a single click. Under the Punjab Skills Development Authority (PSDA) Act 2019, all technical and vocational institutions must register with PSDA. Any institution found violating this regulation will face six months of imprisonment and a fine of up to Rs. 1 million.

List of Illegal Institutions Published

To ensure transparency, the PSDA has published a list of 622 illegal/unapproved institutions on its official website. Additionally, students can access details of all approved institutions, including the courses offered and contact information, on the web portal. The curricula of relevant courses will also be available online for easy reference.

Online Complaint System Introduced

Students and parents can also file complaints against illegal institutions directly through the PSDA website. This initiative aims to protect students from fraudulent institutions and ensure they receive quality education.

Condemnation of Nowshera Bomb Blast

Meanwhile, Maryam Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned the bomb blast in a mosque in Nowshera, which resulted in the martyrdom of Maulana Hamidul Haq and other worshippers. She expressed deep sorrow and grief over the incident and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured victims. The Chief Minister labeled the attack as an act of open terrorism and reaffirmed that the nation is united in the fight against terrorism.

Tragic Road Accidents in Punjab

Maryam Nawaz Sharif also expressed grief over the tragic accidents in Punjab, including the collision between a truck and a car in Rawalpindi’s Kotla Mor area and another traffic accident near Chakwal, which claimed the lives of four individuals, including two women. She extended her condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls.
