CM Punjab Green Tractor Scheme: The Punjab government has launched the second phase of the “Chief Minister Punjab Green Tractor Scheme” to promote the development of farmers and increase agricultural production. Who can apply for the Green Tractor Scheme?
Only those who fulfill the following conditions can apply for this scheme:
- Be a resident of Punjab
- Own at least 7 acres of agricultural land
- Not a defaulter of any government loan or subsidy scheme
- Not previously benefited from any tractor scheme
- Have A national Identity Card (CNIC) and land documents
- The name of the applicant must be included in the land title
- If the land is in joint ownership, only one member of the family can apply

Required Documents for Green Tractor Scheme
The following documents must be ready while applying:
- Original National Identity Card (CNIC)
- Proof of land ownership (individual/registry)
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Kisan Card (if available)
- Mobile number registered in your name
- Record of any loan or subsidy (if applicable)

1. How to apply online:
- Log in to your mobile or open the official website of the scheme on your computer:
- Click on the “Apply Now” button
- Create a new account (enter name, CNIC, mobile number)
- Fill the form and provide the correct information
- Upload a scanned copy of the required documents
- Submit the form and keep a printout or screenshot of the receipt
2. How to apply offline:
- Visit your nearest Agriculture Department office or Tehsil Office
- Obtain the application form
- Complete the form and attach the required documents
- Submit the form to the concerned office
- Obtain the receipt, on which the application number will be mentioned

Selection process
- Eligible candidates will be selected after receipt of applications.
- If the are more applications, the selection will be done through a lottery
- Successful candidates will be informed through SMS or a call
- The tractor will be delivered within the stipulated date.

- Available tractors around 20,000
- Subsidy rate is higher on small tractors, relatively lower on large ones
- Delivery time is 60 to 90 days after a successful application
